Skip-A-Pay is now easier than ever and available exclusively online!

Check your eligible loans and apply quickly through Mobile or Online Banking. With qualifying loans, the process is simple and seamless — just select your loan, pay the fee, and your due date will be adjusted automatically. We are providing you with an opportunity to skip your weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payment(s) in December or January for a small fee of $35 per loan!

Use this extra money for:

• Holiday shopping
• Traveling
• Special events with friends and family

Deadline to apply

The Skip-A-Pay application deadline is December 31 at midnight. Unfortunately, we will not be able to process any applications that are submitted after this deadline.

‍Apply through Mobile Banking

• In the bottom right of the mobile app select More tab
• Scroll to the bottom and select Skip-A-Payment

Apply through Online Banking

• In the top navigation, hover over Additional Services
• Select Skip-A-Payment in the drop down

‍Skip-A-Pay FAQs

• How can I pay my Skip-A-Pay?
  • Skip-A-Pays can only be requested online and you must have the $35 fee available in either your savings or checking account to submit your request.
• ‍Can I mail in the form or payment this year?‍
  • There is no longer a form to complete. Skips can only be completed online and can no longer be mailed in.‍
• Why don’t I see any eligible loans?‍
  • Not all members have eligible loans for our Skip-A-Pay program. ‍
• Is there a fee to skip my loan payment?‍
  • Yes, there’s a $35 fee for skipping your payment on any eligible BR Telco loans.

Disclaimer

Once you complete the Skip-A-Pay form, you authorize Baton Rouge Telco Federal Credit Union to extend your final loan payment(s) by one month. Interest will continue to accumulate on your loan(s) during the month you skip your payment. Payments made through direct deposit/payroll deduction or a bank draft will remain in your designated Telco account for the month you are skipping your payment. You must have the $35 fee available in either your savings or checking account to submit your request. VISA and Real Estate loans are not eligible for Skip-A-Pay program. Loans must be current to be eligible to skip the payment. Telco reserves the right to refuse any Skip-A-Pay request. You are responsible for stopping and then restarting any recurring online payments you have set up.
