Enroll and Customize your Text Banking
Baton Rouge Telco’s Text Banking lets you simply and securely get balance and transaction information, and receive alerts about your Telco accounts. Once you’ve enrolled, just text the short code command that you need to 454545, that’s it!
From your desktop, mobile device, or tablet login to Online Banking at brtelco.org.(Unfortunately, at this time you are not able to enroll in Text Banking via our Mobile Banking App.)
Click on Additional Services, then Mobile Banking & Alerts. Enter your mobile number and click Activate. You’ll receive a text confirmation code. Enter the code and that’s it! You’re now enrolled in Text Banking.
Now you’re ready to customize the alerts you’d like to receive.
From your mobile device, tablet, or desktop login to Online Banking at brtelco.org. Unfortunately, at this time you are unable to customize alerts in Text Banking via the Mobile App.
Select “Additional Services” from the top navigation menu, and then select “Mobile Banking & Alerts”.
Now you’re ready to customize your alerts. Choose from the following options:
- Balance update
- Low balance
- Large withdrawal/deposit
- Check cleared
- Loan payment due
- And more
Tip: Add 454545 as BR Telco Text Banking to your contacts list.
With a few text commands, you can quickly receive account information such as balances or recent transactions via text. You don’t need to sign in, and it’s just as secure as our other services.
Text any of these keywords to 454545 for account balances and information.
- BAL – Primary balance
- LAST – Last 5 transactions
- TRANS – Transfer funds to your primary account
- STOP – Deactivate service
- HELP – Help keywords
