Programmer – Watson Branch

Job Description

• Designs, develops, and implements complex software applications.
• Maintains and modifies existing programs and purchased packages.
• Investigates program errors, defines problems, debugs programs, tests results, and implements changes.
• Works with end users to translate requirements into programming results.
• Demonstrates the Credit Union’s Core Values (Service, Solutions, Adaptability, Respect and Accountability).

Requirements

• Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• A bachelor’s degree, or achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.
• Full-time hours of 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Other Skills

• Knowledge of structured programming in POSIX or Windows programming environments.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design and programming languages.
• Experience with SQL report generators and scripting environments.
• Ability to think orderly, logically and analytically with strong problem solving skills.
